Ethan and Malia… two of the sweetest souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I mean, look at that beautiful smile Malia has! Their was nothing but love, laughter, and happy tears at this garden wedding. At weddings, I am always so humbled to see the love and purity of emotions that surrounds the day. Ethan and Malia’s wedding was filled to the brim with the purest of love from beginning to end, and it was something truly beautiful to witness, let alone photograph! I am so excited to see these two as their lives unfold and they embark on new adventures together.

I got to meet Colin and Austen this summer in Salem, OR for their engagement session, and it made me love my job all over again! These two had me laughing all evening! Such a fun and playful love that they share, and I could not be more excited to capture their wedding next summer!

Wishing you love and happiness,

I am always so incredibly honored when a friend asks me to photograph their wedding. Heather and John are so precious to me and two of the kindest people I have ever met. They shine so brightly for the Lord and love each other deeply. This couple is beautiful in every way, and their wedding day was an incredible celebration of the love that they share.

Wishing you love and light,

This couple and their session was so special. Caitlin contacted me at the beginning of the year to inquire about me capturing her vow renewal. I was of course honored, and so thrilled to photograph such a special time. However, Mike is in the military and due to his ever-changing schedule, the vow renewal had to be postponed. We decided to do an anniversary session instead before they had to move to where Mike was needed next, and it was such a blessed time! This shoot was absolutely amazing and I was so very impressed with Mike and Caitlin and how they were able to turn a disappointing situation into something incredible! A true testament to how a marriage should be and the beautiful love and support that a husband and wife share. This session is a favorite of mine, and I will forever be humbled by the incredible couples I get to spend time with and capture on film. And a HUGE thank you to all of our military members for all you do!

From Caitlin: “I wanted our anniversary photos to have a soft romantic feel to them. That vision came to life amazingly! We love the soft lighting that captured the intimacy in our photos. Our experience working with you was fantastic! We greatly appreciated her flexibility with Mike’s military schedule, and how easy-going she was when we had to cancel our ceremony. She put us at ease throughout the whole shoot!”

Wishing you love and light,

Oh what a blessing to be a part of Jordan and Jessica’s wedding day! These two are such a joy, and I enjoyed every minute I spend with them!  The amount of love on this special day was overwhelming! So many loved ones came to celebrate with them, and it was beautiful! After all, that is really what a wedding is all about! Celebrating the union of two people in love! That’s exactly what they did, and of course, these two had style to boot! Enjoy! :)

From the Bride:

“Our vision for our day was “Community” as evidenced by our nearly 300 guests. We wanted our day to be a reflection of our love for the Lord, for each other, and for our people. Growing up in the same town and community meant a lot of people invested in both of our lives as individuals and we wanted to celebrate our union and reunite with as many of these wonderful people as possible. We wanted it to be fun and for people to experience our joy and enjoy time together. We wanted to have fun and celebrate a glorious day, and we did just that. The whole day was just perfect and ran so smoothly from beginning to end. We had a lot of out-of-town family and friends so it was amazing to have everyone together in one place. I loved the moments when I finally got to see Jordan for the first time. Those sweet quiet minutes were some I will cherish the rest of my life. I loved having my dad walk me down the aisle and also marry us, it was so special. My cousin made my bouquet with flowers from a neighbor’s yard and I just about cried when I saw it. Wearing my grandma’s jewelry. And then seeing everyone together, dancing and enjoying the evening was definitely a highlight.

Katlyn was an absolute joy to work with. I can’t imagine having had anyone else capture our wedding day in pictures. From our initial first meeting to receiving our final photo package, Katlyn was professional, genuine and oh so sweet. Her work is absolutely stunning. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding and have no doubt that her creative gifts will be a blessing to you for years to come.”
