Kyle and Katie are two of the most fun-loving people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I got to meet them first at their fall engagement session, and Katie walked up in a stunning red gown and the most beautiful fall floral arrangement made by her mother. I knew immediately that they were going to be a dream to photograph, but it got so much better when I got to know them a little more. They were both full of laughs and love, and that truly made for the best engagement session. I’m always so blessed by a couple that shares my love for beautiful and romantic photos, but when they are a  joy to be around as well, it makes my job less like a job and more like a fun day with friends. Fast forward to their beautiful wedding day in Salem, OR and it was just as amazing. Katie and Kyle chose the stunning Deepwood Estates for their venue, and it is acres and acres of greens and gardens. Katie imagined a secret garden wedding, and this venue was the perfect setting. Florals arrangements made my Katie’s mom and books and beautiful details were everywhere as guests gathered to celebrate. Katie and Kyle said their vows in the most incredible garden with green archways and flowers adorning the isle. As lovely as the day was, my favorite part was seeing the big smiles on Katie and Kyle’s faces as they headed back up the isle after the ceremony. It was an absolute dream of a wedding and I was so honored to be a part of it!

Garrett and Kari live in Washington, so when we were chatting about engagement plans, we decided to meet half way at Smith Rock. I knew it was beautiful there, but words truly cannot do this place justice. I was in awe of Smith Rock with it’s towering mountains, running rivers, and beautiful greenery. Then to top it all off, Garrett and Kari are one of the most stunning couples! I had so much fun romping around Smith Rock with these two, chasing the sunset and enjoying the beauty. I love how these photographs capture their playful love and I am so excited to capture their Spokane, WA wedding this summer!

I have gone to school with Kayla since middle school and my husband went to school with Luke, so when they asked me to capture their wedding day I was beyond thrilled. It’s always an extra special honor to capture the wedding of dear friends. This day was perfect from beginning to end. Kayla was the most laid back and relaxed bride I have ever had, and it was such a joy to watch her and Luke TRULY enjoy their wedding, with no stress or worries, just pure love for each other and all of their friends and family who came to join in the celebration. It was a lovely June day, greenery everywhere, and the happiest wedding colors ever! Bright mint and coral details made everything cheerful, and then of course the biggest smiles on Luke and Kayla’s faces made everything that much better!

Often times at a wedding, I will be holding my camera up photographing and I’ll realize I have a smile a mile wide on my face as well. I just can’t help it! These days are so joyful and I am so incredibly blessed to call this my job!

Thank you Luke and Kayla for inviting me to photograph your perfect day and your perfect love!

Everything about this is heavenly! Tall summer grass, golden light, a beautiful blue dress coupled with blue hydrangeas (a favorite of mine!), and most importantly a stunning mamma-to-be and her growing family. I was truly so honored to photograph Michael, Asia, and that baby bump! Even their puppy, Kona, made an appearance for a few photos! Pregnancy is such a beautiful time, and I can’t stress enough the importance of having photos during this special season. Being able to look back at the beauty of pregnancy after your new little bundle has arrived is such a gift!

Asia and Michael are such a joy to be around, and I loved every moment of this hillside session. Since this session, sweet little Willow Rae has arrived and is more beautiful than you can imagine! I know, not surprising with parents that look like that! :p I will forever cherish being able to photograph this special season in life, and celebrate new mommy’s and their beauty!

This 4th of July weekend wedding was the epitome of a perfect summer day. The weather and venue were lovely. Katie and Brad celebrated their wedding day with friends and family surrounded by acres and acres of breathtaking mountains and vineyards. This wedding will forever be a favorite of mine, because Katie and Brad chose to honor God in every aspect of their wedding. Among many lovely details, their was a beautiful wooden sign with a hand painted reminder that ‘every good and perfect gift is from above,’ a vineyard inspired wine barrel which held the communion elements, and the most incredible ceremony site. Katie and Brand said their vows beneath a stunning wooden cross adorned with flowing fabric and flowers. Wedding details are some of my very favorite things, but the details surrounding this wedding were even more special as they were a reminder that Brad and Katie wanted to commit their new marriage to the Lord. I will forever cherish this couple, because they are two of the sweetest and most welcoming people I have had the pleasure of meeting and I am so honored that they chose me to document their wedding day in all of it’s beauty!
