Finally beginning to journal my 2017 weddings, and this is the PERFECT one to start with! Ashley and Levi’s wedding was sweet as can be, which matched the bride and groom perfectly. These two… wow. Such kind and loving souls, and I was so blessed to be by their side throughout their engagement and ultimately during their lovely June wedding. This wedding was during one of Southern Oregon’s hottest days of the summer, at 109 degrees. But I hardly remember it being that hot looking back at these photos. Ashley and Levi look so happy in every single frame, and it is truly a testament to the joy that was present! Regardless of the heat, the day was perfect because these two were full of joy, their guests were full of joy, and it was absolutely infectious! Sometimes, when creating these journal entries, I’m reminded of the beauty I get to capture. This is one of those. These two could not be more perfect for one another and I am so excited to watch their new journey as husband and wife unfold!

Congratulations Ashley and Levi!

Watercolor has such a romantic and soft quality about it. The way the colors run together to create the perfect blend of beauty is what inspired this editorial shoot. A hand painted watercolor skirt in combination with a seaside tablescape, a perfect pop of red florals, and a misty beach all came together beautifully in these photographs. Wow. One of my absolute favorite weddings to date. I have clocked quite a few hours by Kyle and Shelly’s side. I was so blessed to be able to photograph their engagement session, Shelly’s bridal boudoir session, her bridal shower, their wedding, and I just recently flew down to beautiful SoCal to photograph their maternity session! THIS is why I love my job. I absolutely love when my couples become life long friends. Shelly and Kyle are such a joy to work with. Their love is so evident in every single photograph, and their wedding was above and beyond beautiful. Shelly had such a gorgeous vision for their special day, and it came together even more perfectly than I could have imagined! So many lovely blush and gold details! I was blown away by not just how beautiful the day was, but by how much love surrounded Kyle and Shelly. Their friends and family showered them with love, laughter, and joy and it was such a beautiful thing to witness! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Vittitoe for inviting me to be a part of your perfect day!

I love when a bride decides to do a bridal boudoir session. It is such a fun gift for their future hubby, and it also helps brides see how incredibly beautiful they are! Shelly decided to go for an outdoor natural light session, which is music to my ears, and she trusted my vision entirely. I envisioned a beach session at sunset with all things lace and feminine, but it turned out even better than I could have imagined! Between the infamous SoCal light, the ocean washing up on the shore, the french lace robes, jewels, florals, and most stunning bride, this session was a dream! Shelly was an absolute picture walking down the beach with the lace trailing behind her. We spent the entire evening laughing, taking gorgeous photographs, and soaking up every last bit of sunset light.

This team of vendors was nothing short of a dream. Stephanie looked absolutely stunning in this Saint Isabel gown and adorned with Petals and Stones jewels. All of the beautiful rentals from Minery fit perfectly into this fall equestrian inspired bridal session, as did my FAVORITE bouquet to date from Twigss Floral. The horses, the stunning venue, the dream team of vendors, and the beautiful California sunlight made this day perfect. So excited to finally share this session with you all!

Wishing you love and light,
