I could gush on and on about this wedding, this couple, EVERYTHING! I first met Whitney at a coffee shop. She had spoken with a number of photographers, but had just heard about me and we decided to meet up for coffee and to chat. I heard about the other amazing photographers she had already talked to, so quite honestly, I wasn’t so sure I would book this one! However, when we got to talking we got on the subject of film. Whitney didn’t know that I shot mostly film, and I think that’s what we bonded over most! I am blessed by so many amazing brides, and they are ALL my favorites for different reasons, but one of the reasons this particular bride and her wedding meant so much to me is because she truly valued film, which is something so near and dear to my heart. Most of my clients know that they like the “look” of my photos, but don’t realize that film is a big part of that. I loved that Whitney understood the beauty in film and valued it.
We had an amazing time at their engagement session, and I could just tell that not only was this the sweetest couple ever but their style was SO impeccable. Fast forward to to their lovely September wedding, and it did not disappoint. This is a wedding I will ALWAYS cherish. There were beautiful dusty pink details and greens as far as the eye could see, Whitney was an absolute vision in her Morilee gown, and her and Augey were showered with love from their amazing friends and family all day long. This wedding goes down in the books as one of my absolute favorites for so many reasons.
Photographers always talk about their “dream clients”… Whitney and Augey, you were just that to me! Thank you for inviting me to capture and be a part of such an amazing and special day. Can’t wait to see more adventures unfold for you both!
